What is the value and share of organic imports from countries outside of EU?
According to European Parlament, between the years 2012 and 2016 organic sales in EU grew 47,7% but the organic agricultural area only 18,7%. Logically the share of imports have to be remarkable, already based on that fact.
And what is the amount of organic food produced in EU? Yes, we know the area that is dedicated to organic agriculture. But as far as I know only Northern countries, eg. Finland and Sweden, have systematically collected data, of what and how much has been produced on it. Yields, I mean.
